disaster preparedness & response.

FOCUS

The issues in focus are skill & livelihood for youth, water & sanitation & hygiene, environment & ecology, disaster preparedness & response and health awareness. ADHAR supports tribal and other backward community, economically disadvantaged and right deprived sections of society with particular emphasis on women and children.

Mission is to reach the most vulnerable people living in disaster situations and to bring women to the forefront of active decision making regarding their own lives and that of their families and to empower underprivileged youth and women through relevant education, innovative healthcare and market-focused livelihood program.

Gour Banga Sanghati Samity is a community-based organization which works for transgender empowerment and their health issues and development. We are running an informal learning and care school under GBSS for manual scavengers who are deprived and didn’t get proper education so we are giving them free education. We have formed a self-help group where we are making handicrafts products and sale those products in various fairs. Also, GBSS organizes workshops like beautician course, jewellery making course, handicraft product making course for transgenders & women to give them a livelihood option.

Jabala Action Research Organization hss started her journey since 1992 in Bowbazar, Kolkata.The motive was to stop the second generation prostitution.In course of the journey we felt trafficking, unsafe migration, child marriage are the indispensable factors which lead to the increase in number of prostitution.We a address these factors with same importance. Malda Sahayogita Samiti (MSS) was formed under the leadership of Mr. Biswajit Bose and Miss. Nazema Begum in 1992. MSS is Society Registration 1994 and 2002 registered under FCRA Registration. Our organisation works in rural & urban areas of Malda District in West Bengal with different issues, like- Women Empowerment, Child Rights, Total Health, Education, Climate Change, Human Rights etc. MSS is various resource & fund sharing agencies including Government departments both at the State as well as National levels and Action Aid-India, OXFAM (India) Trust, CARE, CASA, UNICEF, ATSEC-WB (UNDP-TAHA), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Women & Child Welfare, DPEP/SSM, Zilla Parishad, NABARD etc. The organization has a group of 20 competent workers including professional, activists and staff. Today, MSS is in the threshold of future, having arrived at the 26th year in social action.

Sundarban Green Environment Association (hereafter, SGEA), a non-governmental organization, having it’s at Kumirmari, is working in the Sudarban region since 2015. We are working in the Gosaba and its adjacent regions for the restoration and conservation of the respective socio-biospheres.
SGEA doing its work voluntarily with the youths, it is an organization that respects youth and adolescent liveliness and exploration. So we work with them as support organization for young people.
